The Banax Ionix is a slim profile, low weight, easy to handle baitcasting reel, that offers optimal casting comfort due to the finely adjustable centrifugal drag system. It is also a sturdy reel made of corrosion resistant aluminum alloy, great for vertical fishing techniques.

Banax has incorporated in the Ionix reels a highly strong drag system (9kg), with clicking sound.

Weighing only 213 gr, it’s very light, yet robust housing, conceals superb Banax reel technology with 8 ball bearings. The star-wheel drag has a force of 9 kg, and the state-of-the-art aluminum spool has a capacity of 200 m (PE 2), 150 m (PE 3) and 110 m (PE 4).

One feature that you will find in no other baitcasting reel is the Drag Preset settings for PE, or Monofilament, by adjusting the knob. 

The Level Wind ensures the accurate distribution of the braided line on the spool, while the large EVA knob allows the angler to exert force when fighting strong prey.
